David and I really want to try to cook a meal together once a week at least. I know this probably sounds way too simple. But it isn't for us. We seem to be too busy to find much time during the week to cook. But this week we did it! Last night we got home from work and took Bo for a walk (another resolution) and then cooked tilapia, asparagus, and a wonderful salad. It was so much fun and so delicious. We used the salad dressing recipe his mom taught me and the one we made with our friends in Colorado. The asparagus recipe we stole from our friend Kalle from our dinner in Colorado too. It was fun to think about those memories and enjoy some time together.
And then we went to see Sherlock Holmes 2. It was such a great night.
This dressing is olive oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic, sugar, paprika, salt and pepper. Shake, shake, shake.
And then you dump that yummy dressing over this spinach salad. This time we used cranberries and almonds. Last time we used blueberries, almonds, and bleu cheese.
We used Caribbean jerk marinade on the tilapia and garlic (yes, again with the garlic) and salt and pepper and olive oil on the asparagus.
